Designates April 2016 as Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month in Ohio, continuing a practice established by the U.S. Congress in 1983.

Acknowledges that child abuse and neglect affect youth across all races and socioeconomic backgrounds with long-lasting impacts on victims, families, communities, and society.

Recognizes that protective factors including parental resiliency, social connection, parenting knowledge, child development understanding, and emotional development reduce instances of child abuse and neglect.

Directs the House Clerk to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to The National Child Traumatic Stress Network and Ohio news media.
