Amends section 9.15 of the Revised Code and enacts new section 5101.75 to establish a program for the Department of Job and Family Services to pay funeral, cremation, cemetery, and burial expenses for certain deceased public assistance recipients.

Applies to deceased individuals who were recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) for aged, blind, and disabled persons, or recipients of former aged/disabled/blind assistance programs, or residents of unincorporated areas receiving Ohio Works First or disability financial assistance.

Requires applicants to submit itemized funeral expense statements, documentation of deceased's available funds, insurance proceeds information, and accounting of grave space or monetary gifts received.

County departments of Job and Family Services shall approve financial assistance payments up to $750 for expenses exceeding available funds, insurance proceeds, and donations, with a reduced limit of $500 for deceased children under eleven years of age in unincorporated areas.

Allows non-state entities to provide grave space and monetary gifts or grants to supplement funeral expenses, and requires grave markers with the deceased's name, age, and date of death.
