Am. S.B. No. 207 Summary

• Amends Ohio's license plate contribution fund to add six new special license plate programs: Monarch Butterfly ($15 contribution), Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation ($25), Solon City Schools ($30), St. Edward High School in Lakewood ($30), Independence Local Schools ($30), and Westerville Parks Foundation ($30).

• Directs contributions from special license plates to specific organizations and causes: Monarch Butterfly plates fund pollinator protection, school district plates fund student mental health and wellness services, and high school plates split funds between tuition assistance and mental health services.

• Designates 11 memorial highways honoring Ohio military personnel and public servants, including Staff Sgt. Richard T. Pummill, Army Pfc. Neil R. Scott, Trooper Kenny Velez, and Medal of Honor recipients Sergeant Emile DeLeau Jr. and Sergeant Sylvester Antolak.

• Authorizes the Director of Transportation to erect suitable markers along designated memorial highways indicating their names.

• Repeals previous versions of sections 4501.21, 4503.592, 5534.23, and 5534.34 of the Revised Code.
