Enacts section 4113.66 of the Ohio Revised Code to prohibit broadcasting industry employers from requiring broadcast employees to sign noncompete agreements that restrict employment after the employment relationship ends.

Defines "broadcasting industry employer" to include television, radio, cable, internet, and satellite-based services that provide news, weather, traffic, sports, or entertainment programming, as well as affiliated broadcast entities.

Allows employers to restrict employee competition during the term of employment but prohibits restrictions that take effect after employment concludes, including geographic, time period, employer-specific, or industry-specific restrictions.

Voids and makes unenforceable any waiver by broadcast employees of their rights under this section, and excludes management employees from these protections.

Permits broadcast employees to bring civil actions against employers who violate the noncompete prohibition, with violating employers liable for damages, attorney's fees, and costs.
