• Requires qualified nonprofit organizations to conduct criminal background checks, access abuse/neglect databases, train host families, and supervise children subject to host family affidavits.

• Prohibits use of host family affidavits to enroll children in school for athletic programs and requires courts to ignore previous host family affidavits when allocating parental rights.

• Adds provisions across multiple education sections (3310.51, 3313.64, 3313.649, 3313.672) to recognize host family affidavits alongside powers of attorney and caretaker authorization affidavits for school enrollment purposes.
