Amends section 149.43 of the Revised Code to add former and retired peace officers to the definition of "peace officer" for purposes of exempting residential and familial information from public records disclosure

Expands the exemption from public records requests to cover residential addresses, phone numbers, financial account information, and family member details of former and retired peace officers, in addition to current peace officers

Amends section 4501.271 to allow former and retired peace officers to file requests with the bureau of motor vehicles to use a former business address on their driver's licenses and motor vehicle registrations instead of their home address

Prohibits the bureau of motor vehicles from knowingly disclosing the residence address of a former or retired peace officer who makes such a request, while still allowing the business address to be displayed on official documents

Allows former or retired peace officers to request confidentiality of their residence addresses while maintaining the ability to use a previous employment business address for identification and registration purposes
