Creates new section 3113.311 authorizing courts to issue dating violence protection orders for conduct involving a person in a dating relationship, with similar provisions to domestic violence protection orders

Allows prosecution for violating a protection order without proving the defendant was formally served if prosecution proves defendant was shown the order or informed of it by a judge or law enforcement officer

Includes dating violence victims in the victim's bill of rights pamphlet and clarifies they have the right to petition for civil protection orders

Defines dating violence as attempting to cause bodily injury, threatening serious physical harm, or committing sexually oriented offenses against a dating partner within the past twelve months

Provides dating violence victims with access to domestic violence shelters and allows them to be accompanied by victim advocates in court proceedings
