Honors Sheriff John Lenhart for receiving the 2015 Ferris E. Lucas Award for National Sheriff of the Year from the National Sheriffs' Association.

Recognizes Lenhart's diligence, enthusiasm, work ethic, and dedication to excellence during his tenure as Shelby County sheriff (named in 2010, re-elected in 2012).

Acknowledges his efforts to better the community and his commitment to responsible public service that contributes to Ohio's prosperity and responsiveness to communities.

Directs the Senate Clerk to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Sheriff John Lenhart.
