Senate Resolution memorializing Judith B. Sheerer, adopted by the 131st General Assembly of Ohio during the 2015-2016 regular session.

Judith B. Sheerer was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in 1982, served five terms as a representative, and held the post of majority whip before being appointed to the Ohio Senate in 1992 and re-elected in 1994.

Sheerer also served as a member of the Ohio Elections Commission and was known for her personal sacrifices of time and effort to improve quality of life in her family, community, and society.

The resolution expresses the Senate's profound sense of loss and pays tribute to Sheerer's legacy of care and commitment, noting she was survived by her husband Benjamin, daughter Morgan, and two grandsons.

The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to the family of Judith B. Sheerer.
