Senate Resolution 484 honors Dan Kelso on his retirement as president of the Ohio Insurance Institute during the 131st General Assembly (2015-2016)

Kelso served more than thirty years in the property/casualty insurance industry, including roles as attorney examiner and hearing officer for the Ohio Department of Insurance, assistant counsel and executive vice president of the Insurance Federation of Ohio, and president of the Ohio Insurance Institute

Kelso was instrumental in helping Ohio maintain a steady regulatory climate and competitive insurance market and served on the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies State Affairs Committee

The Senate congratulates Kelso on his retirement and salutes him as one of Ohio's finest citizens, recognizing his valuable service to the state and record of personal and professional achievement
