Recognizes July 29, 2016, as World Ranger Day in Ohio

Acknowledges that more than 100,000 reserves, parks, and protected areas worldwide employ park rangers who protect natural heritage, educate tourists, and engage communities in conservation

Notes that more than 1,000 rangers have been killed in the last ten years while performing their duties, including encounters with wildlife poachers

World Ranger Day was established in 2007 by the International Ranger Federation and the Thin Green Line Foundation to commemorate rangers killed or injured in the line of duty

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to Ohio news media
