Amended House Bill 174 Summary

• Increases Franklin County Court of Common Pleas judges from 22 to 24 total judges by adding two judges to the Domestic Relations Division

• One new domestic relations judge to be elected in 2018 with term beginning January 9, 2019

• One additional domestic relations judge to be elected in 2020 with term beginning January 2, 2021

• New judges designated to handle domestic relations cases including divorce, dissolution of marriage, legal separation, annulment cases, and juvenile matters
