• Modifies supervision requirements for dental hygienists and expanded function dental auxiliaries, allowing them to practice without direct dentist supervision in certain circumstances for limited durations (not more than fifteen consecutive business days).

• Directs the deans of Ohio State University's College of Dentistry and Case Western Reserve University's School of Dental Medicine to develop a proposal for a primary care dental student scholarship component of the Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program.

• Establishes coverage requirements ensuring health insurers, Medicaid, and public employee benefit plans cannot deny coverage for teledentistry services that would be covered if delivered in-person.
