Creates the Young Commercial Drivers Insurance Premiums Study Committee composed of 6 legislative members (3 Senate, 3 House with bipartisan representation) and 6 members appointed by insurance and trucking industry organizations

Committee shall author a report in consultation with the Ohio Department of Insurance making recommendations on ways to reduce insurance premium costs for commercial drivers ages 18-25

Report must be submitted to the President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, and ranking minority members of both chambers no later than October 1, 2017

Committee report is a public record under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 149

Committee dissolves upon submission of the required report
