• Enacts new section 3319.324 requiring school districts and chartered nonpublic schools to transmit student records within five business days when requested by another school to which a student has transferred

• Applies the five-day transmission requirement to all public schools, community schools, science and technology schools, and college-preparatory boarding schools

• Specifies that if a school has no record of the student's attendance, it must provide a statement of that fact within the five-day timeframe

• Clarifies that the new requirement is in addition to, and does not replace, existing obligations under sections 3313.642 and 3313.672 of the Revised Code

• Amends sections 3314.03, 3326.11, and 3328.24 to add compliance with section 3319.324 to the requirements for community schools, STEM schools, and college-preparatory boarding schools
