Amends Ohio Revised Code Section 3319.073 to require school boards to incorporate youth suicide awareness and prevention training into mandatory in-service training for nurses, teachers, counselors, school psychologists, administrators, and other appropriate personnel.

Requires all covered school employees to complete youth suicide awareness and prevention training once every two years, with training counting toward professional development requirements.

Allows schools to adopt or adapt curriculum developed by the Department of Education or develop their own curriculum in consultation with public or private agencies involved in youth suicide awareness and prevention programs.

Permits training to be accomplished through self-review of suicide prevention materials approved by the school board.

Maintains existing requirements for four hours of in-service training within two years of employment and every five years thereafter for child abuse prevention, violence prevention, substance abuse prevention, school safety, bullying prevention, and dating violence prevention.
