Creates the Ohio Council on Transportation Technology to examine and evaluate state policies related to autonomous, driverless, and connected vehicle technology.

Council membership includes 11 voting members appointed by the governor, House speaker, House minority leader, Senate president, and representing business/policy/research, local government, insurance industry, and labor unions, plus 4 nonvoting ex officio legislative members.

Governor appoints chairperson or co-chairpersons; initial appointments must be made within 90 days of the section's effective date, with staggered terms of two or three years.

Council shall issue an initial report within one year containing recommendations for statewide policy changes, distributed to the governor, secretary of state, legislative leaders, and directors of transportation, public safety, insurance, and commerce.

Council shall continue meeting and issuing annual reports on an ongoing basis, recommending policy changes and updates related to autonomous vehicle technology.
