Amends Ohio Revised Code section 3301.0726 to require the Department of Education to include supplemental instructional materials on cursive handwriting in the English language arts model curriculum for grades kindergarten through five.

Requires instructional materials to enable students to print letters and words legibly by grade three and create readable documents using legible cursive handwriting by the end of grade five.

Mandates the instructional materials be included in the model curriculum no later than July 1 following the effective date of the amendment, with periodic updates thereafter.

Maintains existing requirement that the Department of Education develop a packet of high school instructional materials on personal financial responsibility including credit card abuse avoidance for distribution to school districts.
