Amends section 5901.08 of the Revised Code to create an exemption from the three-month county residency requirement for county veterans service commission financial assistance.

Veterans, active-duty service members, and their spouses, surviving spouses, dependent parents, minor children, or wards who relocated due to a declared disaster or emergency are eligible for assistance immediately upon establishing residency.

Applicants must execute an affidavit confirming they relocated to the county from another Ohio county, another state, or a U.S. territory following an emergency or disaster declaration by the Governor or President.

"Disaster" and "emergency" are defined by reference to division (O) of section 4123.511 of the Revised Code.
