Enacts section 4141.313 of the Revised Code to prohibit reducing a claimant's unemployment benefits by compensation received for participation in director-approved training courses for in-demand jobs.

Exempts training compensation from the standard benefit reduction that applies under section 4141.30 of the Revised Code.

Requires the director of job and family services to adopt rules for approving training courses that prepare claimants for in-demand jobs as defined in section 3333.94 of the Revised Code.

Establishes that participation in an approved training course satisfies the work search requirement under section 4141.29 of the Revised Code.

Known as the "Seeking Career Ladder Opportunities Act."
