Expresses support for the United States Army Corps of Engineers' efforts to prevent Asian carp from invading the Great Lakes through the Chicago Area Waterway System

Supports timely completion of the Great Lakes and Mississippi River Interbasin Study (GLMRIS) - Brandon Road Study with a report due no later than January 2019

Supports investigation into additional structural control technologies, including an Aquatic Invasive Species Treatment Lock, to prevent movement of aquatic invasive species into and out of the Great Lakes

Calls for Congressional authorization of full federal funding for implementing structural control technologies at the Brandon Road Lock and Dam in Joliet, Illinois

Requests federal funding to continue and expand monitoring and harvesting efforts to reduce the Asian carp population below Brandon Road Lock and Dam
