Urges Congress to pass legislation awarding a Congressional Gold Medal to the late Senator John Glenn and Mrs. Annie Glenn for their service and contributions to the nation.

Honors John Glenn's military service with 149 combat missions in World War II and the Korean War, and his historic achievement as the first American to orbit the earth on February 20, 1962 aboard the Friendship 7 spacecraft.

Recognizes John Glenn's 24-year tenure as a United States Senator from Ohio (1975-1999) and his role in founding the John Glenn Institute for Public Service and Public Policy at Ohio State University.

Acknowledges Annie Glenn's advocacy work for Americans with communicative disorders, including her completion of an intensive speech program at Hollins College and her designation by Governor John Kasich as the subject of Annie Glenn Communication Disorders Awareness Day on February 17.

Directs the Ohio House Clerk to transmit the resolution to members of the Ohio Congressional delegation and Ohio news media.
