Acknowledges that domestic violence involves systematic physical, emotional, sexual, psychological, and economic control or abuse that violates victims' privacy, dignity, security, and humanity

Notes that domestic violence costs the nation billions of dollars annually in medical expenses, police and court costs, shelters, foster care, sick leave, absenteeism, and lost productivity

States that domestic violence affects people of all races, ages, income levels, and sexes, requiring coordinated community effort to stop the crime

Directs the Clerk of the House to transmit copies of the resolution to Ohio news media and the Ohio Domestic Violence Network
