The Ohio House of Representatives honors the Notre Dame College wrestling team for winning the 2017 NCAA Division II National Championship, their fifth such title.

The team amassed a score of 103.5, with seven members earning All-American honors, four achieving Academic All-American status, and three winning individual national titles.

Coach Frank Romano is commended for his energy, enthusiasm, and dedication in guiding the team to victory and establishing the players as winners both athletically and academically.

The resolution recognizes that participation in collegiate athletics teaches discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good sportsmanship that benefit team members throughout their lives.

The House Clerk is directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to the Notre Dame College wrestling team.
