Recognizes April 2018 as Donate Life Month in Ohio

Notes that more than 116,000 people in the United States, including approximately 3,000 Ohioans, are currently awaiting life-saving organ transplants, with 22 people dying each day waiting for compatible organs

States that a single organ donor can save the lives of eight people through donation of major organs (heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, kidneys, small intestine) and improve the lives of more than 50 others through tissue donations

Reports that 412 Ohioans donated organs in 2017, enabling 1,274 individuals to receive transplants, and more than 5.3 million Ohioans are registered in the Ohio Donor Registry

Directs the Clerk of the House to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to Ohio news media
