Recognizes April 28, 2018, as Workers Memorial Day in Ohio to honor workers killed or injured on the job.

References the Occupational Safety and Health Act and Mine Safety and Health Act passed after decades of worker and union struggle to improve workplace safety.

Designated in the Ohio Revised Code in 1990, Workers Memorial Day is celebrated annually on April 28 to recommit to stopping on-the-job injuries and fatalities and fighting for better job safety protections.

Urges all Ohio citizens to participate in appropriate projects and activities in support of Workers Memorial Day.

Directs the House Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to United Auto Workers Local 647 and Ohio news media.
