OH SB43

Amends Ohio Revised Code sections 504.04 and 504.13 to allow limited home rule townships to adopt building codes independently of county codes.

Removes the prohibition that previously prevented townships from adopting codes if the county had already adopted codes on the same subject matter.

Establishes that when both township and county building codes exist, both apply where they do not conflict, with the township code prevailing in case of conflict.

Allows townships to adopt building codes regardless of whether a county code on the same subject already exists or is adopted in the future.

Repeals existing sections 504.04 and 504.13 of the Revised Code.
