Sub. S.B. No. 70 - Child Support Law Amendments

• Reduces the period to object to administrative child support orders from 30 days to 14 days
• Reduces notice periods for child support reviews from 45 days to 30 days before formal review begins
• Changes deadlines for requesting administrative hearings related to medical support enforcement and default notices from 7 business days to 14 days
• Establishes new section 3111.801 requiring parents to provide financial documentation (tax returns, pay stubs, insurance information) prior to administrative support hearings
• Effective nine months after enactment to allow Ohio Department of Job and Family Services time for system changes and training of agencies, lawyers, and judges
