The Ohio Senate expresses support for the Hyperloop Transportation Initiative as part of the state's ongoing leadership in transportation innovation and modernization.

Hyperloop corridors in Ohio, including the proposed Midwest Connect corridor, would increase connectivity between regions, connect businesses to markets, and provide people access to employment opportunities.

The state of Ohio, its agencies, political subdivisions, and private sector partners are encouraged to collaborate in evaluating opportunities for developing Hyperloop corridors in Ohio.

Ohio companies, institutions, and talent are encouraged to participate in research, development, production, and construction of Hyperloop corridors both in Ohio and internationally to benefit from the technology.

The Senate Clerk is directed to transmit copies of this resolution to Ohio's Congressional delegation and Ohio news media.
