Recognizes April 2018 as the Month of the Military Child in Ohio, designated to increase public knowledge and understanding of issues affecting military-connected children

Notes that approximately 2 million U.S. military children under age eighteen exist, with 1.1 million school-aged, and the average military student attends between six and nine different school systems from kindergarten through high school graduation

Acknowledges that military postings and deployments create difficult educational transitions, including an average of two school changes during high school alone

Commits Ohio to easing educational transitions for military children to ensure they have equal opportunities for educational success

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to Ohio news media
