Honors Senator Charleta B. Tavares for her loyal and distinguished service to the Ohio Senate representing the 15th District during the 132nd General Assembly.

Recognizes her service as assistant minority leader, ranking member of Health, Human Services, and Medicaid committees, and member of Finance, Transportation, Commerce and Labor, Agriculture, and Rules and Reference committees.

Commends her championing of legislation to reduce infant mortality, eliminate health disparities among African-American babies, establish mental health and drug coverage parity for cancer patients, update Ohio's criminal code, and modernize record sealing law.

Notes her prior service on Columbus City Council from 1999 to 2000 and her focus on eliminating health, education, and criminal justice disparities, protecting consumers, and improving Ohio's infrastructure.

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Senator Tavares.
