Allows county officers absent due to sickness or injury to file a physician's certificate with the board of county commissioners to avoid office vacancy, with specific filing deadlines based on officer type.

Designates the legislation as the "Working Officials Requirements Key Act" or "WORK Act" and provides that the law does not apply to officers in active military service.
