Expands the scope of practice for certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) to allow them to perform evaluations, order diagnostic tests, select and administer treatments and drugs, and direct other healthcare workers for anesthesia-related patient care during hospital admissions through discharge from recovery.

Requires CRNAs to be physically present at the health care facility with their supervising physician, podiatrist, or dentist also physically present; health care facilities must adopt written policies developed by medical, nursing, and pharmacy directors governing these expanded activities.

Prohibits CRNAs from prescribing drugs for use outside the health care facility where they practice and allows supervising physicians, podiatrists, or dentists to restrict CRNA activities if determined not in a patient's best interest.

Adds CRNAs to the definition of "licensed health professional authorized to prescribe drugs" in pharmacy law and clarifies that respiratory care practitioners can receive orders from CRNAs acting in compliance with the expanded scope of practice.

Requires documentation in patient medical or electronic health records when CRNAs perform the newly authorized activities or when they are prohibited from performing such activities.
