Sub. H. B. No. 262 Summary

• Establishes a license plate contribution fund to collect voluntary contributions from motor vehicle registrants who select specialty license plates, with funds distributed to designated charitable organizations and causes.

• Creates nine new nonstandard license plate types including "Ohio DeMolay," "Ronald McDonald House Charities," "ALS Awareness," "Folds of Honor," "La Salle High School," "Harrison Central Huskies," "Zero" (prostate cancer awareness), and "Liberty Center Local Schools."

• Each specialty plate requires a $10-$30 contribution per registration renewal that goes to the designated beneficiary organization, plus a $10 administrative fee to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
