Allows Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) and School Employees Retirement System (SERS) disability benefit recipients elected to certain offices to continue receiving disability benefits during their term of office, except when they otherwise meet termination standards.

Specifies eligible elective offices as: township trustee boards, village legislative authorities, school district boards of education, and educational service center governing boards.

Adds new section 145.364 to establish exception to the rule that disability benefits cease upon employment or election to office, creating carve-out for specified local government positions.

Modifies sections 145.362 and 3309.41 to reference the new exception, allowing disability benefit continuation for elected officials in these positions while maintaining existing termination standards and medical examination requirements.
