H.B. No. 344 Summary

• Creates "Cleveland Clinic Children's" license plates available to Ohio motor vehicle owners for passenger cars, noncommercial vehicles, recreational vehicles, and other approved vehicle classes.

• Collects $25 contribution per vehicle registration and renewal that goes to the license plate contribution fund; additionally charges a $10 administrative fee to the public safety-highway purposes fund.

• Directs contributions from the Cleveland Clinic Children's license plate to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation to support Cleveland Clinic Children's education, research, and patient services.

• Amends section 4501.21 of the Revised Code to establish the license plate contribution fund and specify how contributions from various specialty license plates are distributed to designated charitable organizations and entities.
