Enacts section 109.141 of the Revised Code to authorize the Attorney General to defend political subdivisions in legal actions challenging the maintenance of historical symbols or monuments on public property

Requires consent of the political subdivision's legislative authority before the Attorney General may provide defense or appoint special counsel

Applies to actions alleging that maintaining a historical symbol or monument violates the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution

Applies to actions alleging violations of analogous provisions in Section 7 of Article I of the Ohio Constitution
