Allows applicants for Ohio military license plates to present a county-issued veterans identification card (issued under section 317.241) as evidence of honorable discharge instead of a DD-214 form from the U.S. Department of Defense.

Permits applicants to be required to submit additional evidence if the veterans identification card does not contain all necessary information for the specific military license plate requested.

Amends section 4503.29 of the Revised Code to incorporate this alternative documentation option into the existing military license plate program administered by the Director of Veterans Services and the Registrar of Motor Vehicles.

Maintains existing rules requiring military license plates to display county identification stickers and prohibits plates from recognizing achievement awards or unit awards.

Repeals the existing version of section 4503.29 upon enactment of the amended statute.
