Enacts section 145.585 of the Revised Code to establish health care coverage eligibility for retired PERS law enforcement and public safety officers.

Defines "retired PERS law enforcement or public safety officer" as individuals who retired under specific divisions of section 145.332 of the Revised Code.

Requires that retired PERS law enforcement and public safety officers be eligible for Public Employees Retirement Board health care coverage regardless of whether they meet the board's service credit requirements.

Mandates that health care coverage provided to these retired officers be offered on the same terms and at the same cost as coverage provided to individuals who meet the board's eligibility rules.
