Enacts section 5.266 of the Revised Code to designate April as "Financial Literacy Month" in Ohio to increase awareness about financial literacy skills and economic education for all ages

Establishes that Ohioans need knowledge about personal finance and basic economics concepts including budgeting, credit card management, debt handling, credit reports, mortgages, automotive loans, checking account balancing, and retirement savings

Recognizes the importance of obtaining basic financial literacy skills to enable informed financial decisions and avoid abusive financial products and services in an increasingly complex financial system

States the goal of improving financial literacy and economic education for all Ohioans during their lifetimes
