OH HB529

Requires the Auditor of State to conduct one-time performance audits of each school district that established an academic distress commission under Ohio Revised Code section 3302.10.

Performance audits must be conducted according to standards prescribed under Ohio Revised Code section 3316.042.

Auditor of State must begin auditing districts no later than ninety days after the bill becomes effective.

All costs associated with the performance audits shall be paid by the Auditor of State rather than by individual school districts.
