Replaces terminology "disabled condition" and "disabled person" with "incapacitated condition" and "incapacitated person" throughout sections 2305.41 to 2305.49 of the Revised Code.

Expands the definition of "identifying device" to include devices bearing either the emergency symbol with medical information or devices containing bar codes or quick response codes that can be scanned for emergency medical information.

Replaces references to "medical practitioner" with "physician" and adds "emergency medical service provider" as a defined term referring to individuals holding current valid certificates under section 4765.30 as emergency medical technicians or first responders.

Updates section 2305.49 to retitle the act as the "Uniform Duties to Incapacitated Persons Act" instead of the "Uniform Duties to Disabled Persons Act."

Clarifies procedures for law enforcement officers, emergency medical service providers, and physicians to search for and scan identifying devices or identification cards when encountering incapacitated persons.
