Suspends requirements in Ohio law that physician assistants must practice under the direction, control, and supervision of a physician during the emergency declared by Executive Order 2020-01D on March 9, 2020.

Suspends the requirement that physician assistants may only perform services if authorized by their supervising physician or health care facility.

Suspends the requirement that physicians must maintain supervision of physician assistants.

Preserves physician assistant authority to provide medical care in response to disasters or emergencies, and to administer, deliver, or distribute drugs pursuant to emergency protocols.

Declares the act an emergency measure effective immediately, citing physician assistants as essential to providing adequate COVID-19 care and treatment across the state.
