• Health benefit plans must cover a 90-day supply of prescribed covered drugs during any state of emergency declared by the governor.

• Health plan issuers cannot impose cost-sharing requirements for 90-day supplies that are proportionally greater than requirements for standard supplies.

• Ohio Department of Medicaid must cover a 90-day supply of prescribed drugs during state of emergency with proportionally equivalent cost-sharing as standard supplies.

• Medicaid managed care organizations cannot require prior authorization for antidepressant or antipsychotic drugs in standard tablet/capsule form when prescribed by qualified psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, or clinical nurse specialists.

• Bill applies to the COVID-19 state of emergency declared by Executive Order 2020-01D on March 9, 2020, and takes effect immediately.
