School districts are not required to plan transportation schedules based on the start and end times of nonpublic or community schools they serve, subject to division (F) of section 3313.48.

Chartered nonpublic schools must provide annually by July 1 to school districts: the school's start and end times, calendar for the upcoming school year, and addresses of students receiving transportation.

Community schools must provide the same information annually by July 1 to school districts that will transport their students.

The bill amends sections 3314.09 and 3327.01 of the Revised Code and enacts section 3301.165.

The bill takes effect immediately as an emergency measure to allow school districts to adjust transportation schedules in a timely manner.
