Creates a new Domestic Relations Division of the Hardin County Court of Common Pleas effective January 1, 2023.

From January 1, 2023 through February 8, 2027, the probate judge assumes general division powers and oversees probate matters while serving as clerk of the probate court.

The judge elected in 2026 with a term beginning February 9, 2027 becomes the general division judge, inheriting all general and probate division jurisdiction and powers.

The judge with a term beginning January 1, 2023 is designated as the domestic relations division judge, handling divorce, dissolution, annulment, child support, custody, and related family law cases.

Updates sections 2151.07, 2301.02, and 2301.03 of the Revised Code to establish the new division structure and reallocate judicial responsibilities.
