Amends Ohio Revised Code sections 109.78, 2923.11, and 2923.122 to require firearms training for school employees approved to carry firearms in school safety zones.

School employees with written board authorization to carry deadly weapons or dangerous ordnance must complete a course of advanced firearms training taught by an expert, including instruction on active shooter response in school or classroom environments.

Adds definition of "school employee" to include employees of school districts, educational service centers, community schools, STEM/STEAM schools, and nonpublic schools with state-prescribed standards.

Maintains existing exemptions for law enforcement officers, security officers under employment contracts, and military personnel with valid identification and appropriate firearms training documentation.

Training requirement applies when school employees are authorized to convey firearms into school safety zones and must possess or carry concealed handguns in accordance with the authorization.
