Requires all motor vehicles with raisable beds to be equipped with an automatic internal alarm that sounds when the bed is raised, effective January 1, 2023.

Prohibits motor vehicle manufacturers from manufacturing or selling vehicles with raisable beds in Ohio unless equipped with the required alarm.

Prohibits disabling the alarm except for repair, maintenance, replacement, or similar purposes.

Violation of the alarm requirement is a fourth-degree felony with a mandatory $10,000 fine if done recklessly.

Designates the act as the "Daniel Ripepi Act."
