Declares February 14, 2020, as "Ohio Loves Transit Day" and encourages Ohioans to participate in events celebrating public transit.

Ohio's 61 urban and rural public transit agencies serve 83 counties and provide more than 117,000,000 rides per year, including 14,000,000 rides for seniors and people with disabilities.

Public transportation is a $900,000,000 industry directly employing more than 7,400 people and generating $3.6 billion in annual economic activity in Ohio.

Public transit reduces road wear and tear, eases traffic congestion, and deploys alternative fuel vehicles including Ohio-produced natural gas to support green energy development.

Requires the Clerk of the House to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to the Governor and Ohio news media.
