Requests the special enrollment period remain open for at least sixty days.

Cites COVID-19 testing and treatment costs of thousands of dollars or more per individual as justification for exceptional circumstances warranting the enrollment period.

Notes that Ohio uses the federal exchange and cannot independently issue a special enrollment period, unlike many state exchanges that have already done so.

Directs the House Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, the CMS Administrator, and Ohio news media.
